Wellness

Linear LED accents trace the edges of every volume — preventing dark finishes from dissolving into disorientation and giving each room a clear, calm spatial definition.

PROJECT CONTEXT

Remedy Place Boston is the latest iteration of an exclusive wellness club concept built around recovery, treatment, and social restoration. Dark, considered, and deliberately unhurried — it carries the DNA of the brand while standing fully on its own.

The Cosine arrived at Boston with two Remedy Place projects already behind them. That accumulated knowledge compressed the process and sharpened the outcome.

APPROACH & PROCESS

The Cosine carried their foundational relationship with the Remedy Place partners to guide Boston. Design preferences were already known — comfort with deep dimness, confidence in architectural lighting as the primary instrument, a decorative fixture sensibility. That clarity of brief allowed the team to focus their energy.

An early conversation about curved forms shaped the project’s direction. Highlighting curvilinear surfaces with lighting details carries real cost and coordination implications. By addressing this honestly at the outset, the team created a space equally beautiful and significantly more buildable.

OUTCOME & IMPACT

Remedy Place Boston is the most refined iteration of the concept yet — discreet, precise, and extraordinary. The contrast between dark surface and deliberate light produces a spatial richness.

What’s most telling about the Remedy Place brand is what it doesn’t rely on. No logo moments, no branded signage, no graphic identity. The brand is expressed through color palette, spacemaking, and the architectural lighting as experience. Boston makes that identity most clear of all.
